Home Inspection

As a home Inspector I am a generalist.  It is my job to know a home’s many systems and components, and how they operate both concurrently and independently.  In addition, it is my job to understand why and how a system, or systems can fail.  After the completion of your inspection, a written report will be provided to you describing the actual condition of your home, as well as, any concerns for major repairs.  I always enter accessible crawlspaces, attics, basements and walk roofs, when it is safe.  Finally, I am licensed through the state of Indiana and fully insured.

A home inspection is a visual inspection of your house, and does not include any destructive testing.  Basically, if I cannot see it, I cannot inspect it.  The home inspection process takes 2-4 hours to complete, during your inspection it is my job is to concentrate on the condition and structure of your home at the time of the inspection and identify any safety concerns that may be present.  Inspection reports will be complete and reviewed at the conclusion of the inspection and will be emailed to you and/or your realtor, per your request, within one hour.  Below are the minimum requirements I provide for a home inspection.
